Belgrano is one of Buenos Aires nicest residential neighborhoods. With numerous greenspaces including the hilly Barrancas de Belgrano Park, and a burgeoning Chinatown, Belgrano is quieter than nearby Palermo and Recoleta but still convenient to everything via public transportation. Museums in Belgrano include the Museo Historico Sarmiento, former home of diplomat Domingo Sarmiento, Museo Enrique Larreta, former home of the novelist, and the Museo Casa Yrurtia, former home of sculptor Rogelio Yrurtia.
